The year of 2011 has been amazing. I had a ton of great times, I got engaged to the amazing Trisha. I wanted to share a few of my favorite shots. But not the normal list that you might see from everyone else. These are shots that you haven’t seen. You’ve seen a shot or two from an adventure but I never posted/published or released these into the world. These are shots that made the cutting room floor. For no particular reason but I wanted to share them with you know… now!

Portland Oregon
It’s weird how you can make a decision that could change your life. Friday was the Christmas tree lighting at Pioneer Courthouse Square and I’ve attended it the last couple years. It’s a good time, lots and lots of people all excited for x-mas season. This year I didn’t go because I wanted to do something else. They turned on the new sign for the old “Made in Oregon” sign, it now reads Portland Oregon. We had a terrorist plot to blow the whole Pioneer Courthouse up that the FBI had put a stop to. They were about the same time and just 10 blocks from each other. I could of been just like a lot of my friends and people who I watch on tv dead or injured. I won’t put two seconds into the idea that I could of been there and the thing could of worked and I could of died. It’s just not worth it, I have real things to worry about not something that didn’t happen.

5 years
This is my 6,000th public picture I’ve posted to Flickr. It is also my 5 year anniversary this month of being on Flickr. It has been an awesome 5 years. I wasn’t a photographer I was a person who had a point and shoot Sony Cybershot that I bought from an electronics store that was going out of business for $80. My photography addiction started with a trip to Sturgis on my 2000 Harley Fatboy. Once I got back less then 2 weeks later my motorcycle was stolen and I needed a new hobby. Thank you photography and thank you Flickr and your wonderful community that I call friends.
