The year of 2011 has been amazing. I had a ton of great times, I got engaged to the amazing Trisha. I wanted to share a few of my favorite shots. But not the normal list that you might see from everyone else. These are shots that you haven’t seen. You’ve seen a shot or two from an adventure but I never posted/published or released these into the world. These are shots that made the cutting room floor for no particular reason, but now I want to share them with you now!
It’s all about having your gear with you. Of course it helps to know magic and have the hair stand up on your back when a great sunset is about to happen. I had a feeling and I was ready. I was about 1/3 of the way to the area where I took this photo when I received a text from a friend asking if I was taking photos of this sunset. This day’s sunset was supposed to have it’s photo taken. It was begging for it and even a friend knew I would be out. You just got to love the late night sunset.
You can either stand on the sidewalk like everyone else and take a photo of 1 thing at a time, or you can put on your big boy pants and do everything at once and make magic. It’s up to you.

This sign is one of the many things that screams Portland. I love it, they changed it from Made in Oregon to read Portland Oregon. I heard that today was they were changing the letters on the sign so I went in for a closer look.
It’s either a legit BANKSY or it’s someone who did a real good job doing a copy. It’s "Umbrella Girl" who showed up in New Orleans. The question is where and when will the rest pop up?
